Supporting Our Seniors

For our senior properties, we encourage an active resident lifestyle and provide opportunities to interact through classes, clinics, and social events tailored to the specific interests of each community.

We have a host of activities and information that helps our senior residents maintain wellness, continue learning, receive the support of a case manager who can refer them to needed services, and most of all have fun!

These activities build community and keep seniors engaged which has a positive effect on their well-being and raises their quality of life. Our programs help seniors live independently and are offered at no additional cost.

We have developed and improved our services based on the feedback of the residents we serve.

Examples of Senior Activities

Embrace activities for seniors include health and wellness activities like:

Health/Wellness

  • Mental Health Services and Referrals
  • Yoga (and “Chair Yoga”)
  • Zumba ( and “Chair Yoga”)
  • Light cardio activities

Social Activities

  • Bingo (and “ZOOM Bingo”)
  • Coffee mixer
  • Cooking classes
  • Group walks around the neighborhood

We also provide workshops and speakers to address the overall holistic wellness of our residents. These may include:

  • Healthy eating for specific medical conditions
  • Coping with loneliness
  • Aging gracefully
  • Flu shot clinics
  • Mindfulness activities
  • Smoking cessation clinic

Technology Class

One popular example is our technology class, which helps residents communicate more effectively with family and friends, handle critical issues online such as Medicare and Social Security, and feel more connected to the world. This class has been helpful during the pandemic by helping our senior residents stay in touch with their family through their devices.
