San Diego Book Project whose mission is to promote literacy has donated hundreds of books to the Embrace Learning Centers. Embrace and The Book Project share a common belief that owning books provides access to reading and is a critical step toward reading proficiency.
The Learning Centers are stocked with books appropriate for all ages including adults and available for check out as well. The kids love the books and their eyes light up when a new donation arrives. The kids have truly developed a love for reading thanks to the hard work of our coordinators and the generosity of San Diego Book Project.
