The Mosaic on Mission project is a new construction of 140 one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental apartments for low-income families and individuals. Units target households earning between 30% and 70% of the area median income.

The five-story apartment building complements the neighborhood while providing a high-quality and safe environment for its residents adjacent to the South Hayward BART Station. The project features generous common areas and a large central courtyard, including a children’s play structure, community garden beds, and BBQ. The project offers multiple flexible community space suited to be adaptable to unique community needs, as well as both temporary and permanent collective programmed spaces. The project also features two commercial spaces, totaling approximately 4,500 that will create active storefront opportunities for the neighborhood. The parcel is located with convenient access to the South Hayward Bart Station, bus stops, the SoHay park, and local restaurants and retail establishments. The project provides a bike storage room for up to 79 bikes to help reduce the dependence on cars.
